Materials​​

Oicè pieces are assembled using natural stone, silk cord, glass and selected metal components.

​

The material palette may include agate, onyx, carnelian, obsidian and other stones chosen for their individual character, texture and variation.

​

Selected pieces may incorporate sterling silver or stainless steel elements, either as part of the original composition or introduced during the making process.

​

Natural variations in colour, shape and surface are part of each object’s character and should not be considered imperfections.

Care​

​

Oicè objects are intended for everyday use but should be handled with care.

To preserve the materials:

​

• Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes and household chemicals.

​

• Remove before swimming, bathing or vigorous activity.

​

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

​

• Natural stone and glass may chip or fracture if dropped or subjected to impact.

​

• Sterling silver may naturally develop a soft patina over time and can be polished with a suitable silver cloth if desired.

​

• Stainless steel requires minimal maintenance and may be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

​

Each piece will age differently through use, developing its own subtle marks and character over time.
